Nine hundred attendees heard FFL President Serrin Foster present “The Feminist Case
Against Abortion” at the Washington State “Cornerstone” Catholic Conference–and
our booth was literally mobbed after Serrin spoke. People are hungry for our rich
pro-life feminist history and message of hope and focus on resources and support!

“Serrin had a compelling presence and a lot of credibility. The history and context
she provided were unique and eye-opening. Even long-time pro-lifers in the audience
were surprised at how much of this background they did not know; and those who are
more comfortable with feminism than with pro-life activity were captured.”

Pro-life feminists recognize abortion as a symptom of, not a solution to, the continuing
struggles women face in the workplace, on campus, at home and in the world at large.
Like Susan B. Anthony and other early American suffragists, today’s pro-life feminists
envision a better world, where no woman is driven by desperation to abortion.
